Transition is a process happening simultaneously in many corners of Europe. In order to be fair, it requires vision for the future, active role of local society and authorities , and learning from good practices that have been implemented.
A Greek delegation that consisted of representatives of Just Transition Institute Greece, Center for Research and Technology Hellas and the Regional Association of Local Municipalities of Western Macedonia had the chance to visit Estonia, taking part in exchangeEU program and cooperate on issues related to the participation of the local government and the local society in the process of the Just Transition and entrepreneurship.
A unique opportunity to make a deep dive on what Ida Viru is doing to change the productivity model of its region and also to exchange information and ideas with the delegation of Sisak-Moslavina (Croatia).
A useful experience and some great ideas to implement in Western Macedonia.
