Just Transition Institute Greece (JTIG), based in Kozani Western Macedonia, is glad to announce the approval of the proposal submitted directly to the European Commission and the ExchangeEU team, for the “EU coal regions exchange programme” in collaboration with Midland Region, Ireland (Midlands Regional Enterprise Plan) which has similar characteristics to Western Macedonia.
In the next period & based on a specific methodology, JTIG executives together with representatives from Regional Unit of Just Transition, Region of Western Macedonia and University of Western Macedonia will cooperate with the EU and the Region of Ireland in a number of issues related to Just Transition, the citizens of the affected areas and development strategies for the coming years.
